Over the past several years and increasingly over the past several months we hear of more and more websites being "hacked". Generally the same question will arise pertaining to asking the question, why? We all wonder what the hackers could possibly gain, or "don't they have anything better to do"?
The real question we should all be asking ourselves is why aren't we taking the security of our website more seriously?

The point is that those of us who own websites should face the fact that we are all targets and any of our sites are vulnerable to hacking.
I encourage you to read this brief post in the Sucuri blog that details this issue more. We use Sucuri on our website and have begun implementing their firewall on our all client websites as a standard feature.
Purchase Sucuri CloudProxy Website Firewall for an existing website. For most small businesses the Basic Plan is recommended.
